Happy Halloween!

This was Charlotte's 1st official Trick or Treating Halloween. It took her a few houses to get the hang of it, and of course she couldn't say trick or treat, but she had no problem taking the candy out of the bowl. She also refused to let go of any of the candy she received. She had both hands full of candy, also holding a piece in her teeth, and had some stuck to her costume thanks to the sucker she was eating. Little Ruby just took it all in and eventually slept through the evening in the stroller.

Pumpkin Patch Party at Gymboree

We had a blast at this costume party. It was great to see all the different costumes the kids wore. There were games, singing, pumpkin decorating, and a yummy cookie at the end. Charlotte goes to Gymboree once a week for a class and sometimes more often for playtime at open gym. We have been doing this since Ruby was born to keep her busy and entertained. She loves it!

Charlotte & Ruby meet Blake

Kim and Blake came to visit from Kentucky, it was the first time for Kim and I to meet each other's baby. I believe it was also Blake's 1st road trip. Ruby and Blake are 11 days apart, it is going to be fun watching them grow up together. Charlotte loved the babies, kissing them as soon as she could reach them. "Aunt" Drae also was along for the fun, getting a glimpse of the craziness called motherhood.

Charlotte meets Curious George

Ruby Girl!!

Ruby is just about 10 weeks old now. She is so sweet to be around, smiles and coos when you give her attention. She has been sleeping in her own room and crib for the last couple of weeks. Sleeping about 12 hours total through the night, still wakes up usually once to eat. She looks alot like Charlotte as a baby.

Charlotte's 1st haircut

Charlotte's hair was looking a little shabby so we decided to get those baby fine hairs shaped up. I think we laughed through this whole haircut and Charlotte could have cared less. She was more concerned about the plastic cover to the DVD movie she wasn't watching.

Ruby's 2 month check up

Looks like we have another big baby on our hands, Ruby weighed 13 lbs and 13 oz, 24 in long, both are in the 90th percentile for her age. She also got her 1st set of vaccines and did very well.

It's fun to stay at the YMCA!

This is where we spend alot of our time on Tuesday and Friday mornings. They set up a play area for toddlers and it is a great place for Charlotte to burn off some energy.
